The page is a part of the uniform intelligence system for collection, storage,
processing, analysis, modeling and information output on solar observations in
a radio range, based on the data of multiwave spectral-polarization observations
of the new radiometric complex on RATAN-600.
The system provides a free and authorized network access
to the data of solar observations on radio telescope RATAN-600 daily after end
of observations.
The system performs automatic quality control of the data,
with a dispatch of warnings on faulty channels to responsibles; a preprocessing
of the data with creation of the second level archive, search for local sources
and their identification with NOAA active regions. The web site also presents interactive
web applications written in ION (IDL on The Net) Script, for the analysis
of the data, including obtaining of plots and tables of the following
results: spectra of intensity and polarization radiation of the selected
point on the Sun; subtraction of level of the quiet Sun; comparisons with
the data of other observatories; calculation of observable parametres of
solar sources (sizes, flux density, brightness temperature, polarization
degree) on the basis of algorithms of recognition of local sources and the
gauss-analysis;
The system provides the possibility of selection of physical parameters of plasma (magnetic field,
corona temperature, concentration of particles) for corresponding structures
at the corona and transition region levels by means of modeling of a radio
emission of active regions, in the limits of modern views on solar active structures.
Basis for the created applications for the automated analysis are the
long-term researches spent on observations of various solar radiation
sources on RATAN-600 (both for the quiet, and variable structures which
are a part of active region magnetospheres, including preflare stages) and
the techniques of definition of physical characteristics of emission areas
worked out on their basis, and models. New results on modeling of various
dynamic and slowly varying phenomena in plasma structures in the solar
atmosphere expand possibilities for diagnostics of physical plasma parameters on the basis of data RATAN-600 were obtained. In particular, new results on self-inversion of the polarization sign in halo, thermal cyclotron radiation hot coronal closed loops, and features of polarization structure of microwave sources were published in the Astronomy letters and Solar Physics. Also for the first time based on the observations of a sunspot associated source on RATAN-600 the allocation of plasma parameters (magnetic field and temperature) in the transition region is restored. The smooth course of temperature with the height, found from observations, contradicts widespread two-level model of allocation of temperature in the transition region. New researches allow to estimate a width and gradient temperature of the transition layer for everyone observable single sunspot. The received results (in particular, the well developed model of a sunspot associated source), are presented on the web site as applications for modeling.
The intelligence system can be used at the initial stage of scientific publications preparation, for selection of an observational data (on presence of the necessary objects on the Sun), estimations of observable parameters of solar sources, and selection of physical parameters of these sources by means of modeling. Choice of IDL and ION Script as main technologies for processing and visualization of the data allows to use available SolarSoft libraries for processing of the satellite data, and rich graphical possibilities of the IDL for the visualization of the I (r, v), V (r, v) etc as plots, 2D and 3D images.
